The UNFPA Arab States Regional Office and the Government of Tunisia will host a hybrid official event to sign an agreement to host and launch the Centre of Excellence for Youth in the Arab Region. Participants from twenty Arab countries will join the event virtually.
UNFPA ASRO, the Government of Tunisia, and other partners of the Arab Youth Forum are set to sign the hosting agreement of the Centre of Excellence for Youth in the Arab Region. The Centre will focus on providing better knowledge on the situation of youth and capacity-building opportunities, engaging youth in open dialogue and discussions, supporting youth policies and regional youth initiatives, and sharing best practices.
The event will kick start the third edition of the Youth Forum in the Arab Region, which consists of a series of regional events, focusing on the achieved progress in implementing the Youth Forum’s flagship products.
Two years after the second edition of the Youth Forum - where participants agreed on the institutionalization of the Forum based on the shared operational model to accelerate progress on youth-related issues - UNFPA Arab States Regional Office (ASRO) aims to fulfill and renew its commitment to youth in the Arab regions.
