This report was written by Abla Sibai and Nabil Kronfol based on the presentations, deliberations and discussions in the Expert Group Meeting entitled “Aging in the Arab Countries: Research, Policy and Development” held in Beirut, Lebanon in November 2009. Further contributions to this report were provided by Ms. Asma Kurdahi, Mr. Hassan Musa Yousif and Ms. Maguy Ghanem and Mr. Abdallah El Zoubi.
