Faten Taleb, Syrian refugee, lives in Egypt. She can access psychosocial support at the UNFPA-supported Maadi Safe Space for Women managed by Care International.
UNFPA supports 5 Women and Girls Safe Spaces (WGSS) in Egypt where around 800 – 1,000 women and girls, including refugees from Syria, can access psychosocial support and awareness-raising sessions on gender based violence (GBV) and attend educational, skills-training and recreational activities every month.
