The case for investment in the three transformative results in the Arab region

As 2030 quickly approaches, there is an urgent need for investment in UNFPA's three transformative results. This document estimates the benefits and costs of ending unmet need for family planning and preventable maternal mortality, and ending harmful practices including female genital mutlilation (FGM) and child marriage across the Arab region. The cost-benefit ratio for each result was calculated estimating the cost of interventions between 2022-2030 and the benefits through 2050. The results are intended to guide advocacy across the Arab region for improved investment in the three transformative results.
